modern influences! The flare of the band lies in their unconventionality,
with a focus on musical & visual stimulation.
They are one of the most entertaining live
bands you will ever witness, with on stage performance
& sonic musical landscapes like no other. Pulling from
a deep well of influences, each song is as diverse & eclectic
as the band members themselves.

band consists of Sammy Tonic, the handsome & charismatic
front man; Ms. Twisty L'emons expelling musical Exotica
out from her guitar; the spiritual guitar sensations of Hector
Jesus Joachim DLamour;
J. Edgar Hoover channeling his rhythmic vibrations on
upright bass; Chief Tambourino on drums; and featuring
Caesar Clave on trumpet and percussion.

Busstop Hurricanes have been performing together for the last
7 years, recruiting a growing mass of
dedicated followers with their live shows. They have headlined
such L.A. venues as The House of Blues,
Lava Lounge, The Garage, Martini Lounge,
Kibitz Room &
"The Roxy". Orange County venues include "The
House of Blues Anaheim", "Blue Cafe",
"Detroit Bar",
"Linda's Doll Hut", "The Foothill",
"Continental Room",
and "Memphis Soul Cafe".

They have also shared billing
with such bands as "Big
Bad Voodoo Daddy, Jonathan
Richman, John Easdale of "Dramarama",
exotica queen Yma Sumac; &
local L.A

Buchanan", "3rd Grade Teacher",
and "The Negro
Problem".

Their
first release entitled The Satellite Room, is available
at local record stores through Hepcat distribution,
as well as their live performances. They have currently been
working on their follow-up album, which will hopefully
be out by summer of this year. Check back regularly for more
